- Injection solutions: available in 4 and 6 mg/0.5 ml.
Dosage of Tablets for adults: Oral dose of imitrex generic tablets is 25-100 mg and it gradually increases up to 200 mg every day.
Dosage of intranasal solution for adults: Intranasal dose of imitrex generic tablets is 5-20 mg and it gradually increases up to 40 mg every day.
Dosage of Injection solution for adults: Injected dose of this solution 4 or 6 mg. it gradually increases by injecting two injections of 6 mg and time gap between these two injections is 1 hour.
Dose of children: The procedure of taking this medicine by children must be decided by doctor itself.
Route of injection: It is injected under the skin.
